One of the new ranges of Hidesign workbag already in both Hide All stores is this Rayner story in a new textured leather. We are loving the practical but stylish edge to these designs…
Hide All Offer Of The Week!
Print and claim a 20% discount in either stores if you purchase any of these three bags this week (ending Sunday 4th).
The Owen Barry ‘Iggy’ and ‘Amara’ fringed are new styles for Hide All. The Amara(£130) and the cross body with handle - Iggy(£65.00) sits alongside the classic z-top (£50). Owen Barry refreshed in all the new colours. Note how our pictures show Hide All SE1 on another rain expected day Summer 2011 - plenty of Grant Barnett golf umbrellas! But on a sombre note rather rain than riots. Our sympathies go out to all those families and businesses so unfairly victimised by the senseless activities of last week. Well done to our Louise(Tower Bridge employee no 1) who does her bit as a Special Constable in Southwark.
As I’m sure all our customers, families and friends must know August means exam results days. First we’ve got A-level results day on the 18th August and then GCSE results on the 26th August. From all of us here at Hide All we wish the best of luck to all our much loved students.
Naturally results day is also the perfect time for congratulations cards and here are some of our favourites from Hello Lucky!!!
Not quite content with the challenge of consistently producing some of the sharpest wallets, watches and cufflinks in mens fashion, Simon Carter is always seeking out new projects. First he moved into clothing, designing some seriously classy shirts and suits . So naturally it was with a great deal of excitement that we received the news of Simon Carter jewellery on the horizon. Needless to say, Simon has done it again with a fabulous range. Here are a few highlights but make sure to pop in and see the rest!
That time has come around again when Charlton kick off their football season. It seems like the footballing holiday period gets shorter and shorter each year. We’ve all been so busy in the shops it feels like only yesterday that we were watching the final game of last season! Anyway we are all very excited to usher in the new season tomorrow at 3pm against the mighty Bournemouth Athletic. There has been lots of comings and goings in Charlton this summer so nobody quite knows who half of our players are, and we certainly have no idea what the team will be. Here’s to hoping that whoever they are, they manage to win!
Whatever happens, we will hopefully be able to enjoy it all in the glorious sunshine if this current weather holds up (knowing Charlton’s luck though, it won’t!).
We’d love to spend a minute introducing you to the newest member of our Hide All family - so we will! Ochre Blue is our newest brand and is the brainchild of a team of young designers under the supervision of the fantastic Lowell Harder, the founder of Radley. As you would expect from such a pedigree Ochre Blue bags combine fantastic design with beautiful leather. We’re loving Ochre Blue’s range of handbags, influenced by the sights and sounds of the sub-continent, their designs are bringing a small taste of India to Hide All
We adore the earthly colour of this tote bag
This Ochre Red bag is certainly staying loyal to the brand name (well, part of it), it’s a beautiful design with lots of character.
We’re pretty proud of the fact that we’re not only one of the first stockist of Ochre Blue, but currently the only London stockist of their bags. So make sure to pop in to see us in Greenwich or Tower Bridge to take a look at the new range!
Greenwich is currently alive to the sound of music all thanks to the Summer Sessions running throughout the week! From Tuesday to Sunday there’s a concert everyday featuring the proverbial who’s who of music. There’s something for everyone with some of our favourite new acts as well as some great golden oldies!
Pauline and Mick are both big fans of the local band Squeeze, we are expecting another fine rendition of Cool for Cats this Friday.
Whereas I would highly recommend Shlomo and the Vocal Orchestra playing on Sunday, having seen him live at Glastonbury I can safely say its quite a show and well worth a look if you free on Sunday night (especially as its 2-4-1 on all standing and seating tickets on that night!). Above is their take on Massive Attack’s ‘Teardrop’
The National Maritime Museum has recently opened up its new Sammy Ofer Wing, the biggest development in the museums history and costing a whopping £35 million. Not only does it add to the long line of attractions in Greenwich but it also gives us an excuse to boast about how lucky we are to be surrounded by so much history at Greenwich.
We absolutely love the resplendent glory of the Painted Hall, which never ceases to amaze no matter how many times we visit!
Then again it is easy to forget hidden beneath the glorious facade of the Royal Navel College, some of Sir Christopher Wren’s finest work. Thankfully the beauty of Greenwich’s heritage isn’t just a Hide All secret, you’d be hard pressed to fine a year when its not featured in a major film; From Northern Lights to Johnny Depp’s most recent adventure as Captain Jack Sparrow!
What can we say? Visiting the many sites of Greenwich is an absolute must for a trip on sunny day during the long summer vacation. Just don’t forget to come and see us when you do!
We’re going slightly dotty with you for today’s blog with some lovely new stock from our newest label. We’ve loved Queene and Country since it arrived and apparently so have you. We’d all love to say thank you Wendy and Sue - all your expertise and love of the clothing and fashion industry so does show through. We’ll be looking forward to seeing even more Queene and Country designs at the Pure trade show next month - summer 2012 here we come!
We have 2 new styles from our Dutch designers. Saccoo Elche (£125) reproduced from 1970’s originals. Happy moments of Marc Bolan, David Bowie and Rod Stewart. Thinking 70’s originals here.
And then we have the Saccoo Volante( £199). More of an eighties revival - designed for the men used by us all. Happy memories of the Human League, Bananarama and Wham.
