The Scoop will be hosting a series of free theatre events throughout the summer, showcasing new revivals of classic stage productions. Theatre buffs can enjoy live theatre performances in a relaxed atmosphere, with a picnic and a bottle of something refreshing to go with.

This summer’s family offering, Toad Hall, centres on Toad, the famous character from Kenneth Grahame’s popular story who wants to be more famous than he already is. This light-hearted production intends to make full use of its outdoor setting as the Thames becomes the riverbank of the story and nearby City Hall becomes Toad’s precious home. Puppets and music help bring this story to life!!

And if that is not your cup of tea they are also offering Don Juan in Love. A José Zorrilla play about the philandering Don Juan, who is a devil with the ladies and a demon with a blade. With raucous comedy and swash-buckling adventure, The Steam Industry’s production is a fast-paced new version for the city to thoroughly enjoy.
So after visiting Hide All why not pop down and have a look; we certainly will be!
