It was such exciting news when Blackheath was announced as the secret location for Climate Change Camp. So today, Hide All went down to the peaceful protest to have a look.

Although the camp was still being set up, you can see what a worthwhile event this will be. Already the camp had a great atmosphere. There will be excellent workshops, talks and music that will all centre on climate issues and the financial crisis. It really is an important event, so everyone should try and show their support in some way.

Blackheath is symbolic to the camp organisers. Being the historic location of the Peasant’s revolt in 1381, it is the ideal location for a new social struggle. With Canary Wharf in full view of the camp, the ultimate capitalist symbol is a main target for the protesters, as are the oil companies and government departments that will all be in the spotlight.

Let’s hope the camp stays peaceful and the demonstrations raise awareness, reminding people that we should speak out and get involved.

Exciting times for Hide All this week! Radley have just begun launching ‘Radley London,’ the new look for Radley, based on all things London. Still the brilliant design and workmanship, but just a little bit more edgy.

Only 25 independents in Britain were chosen to have the new Radley London Framed Area introduced into their stores…two of which were Hide All Tower Bridge and Greenwich.

We all love the summer evenings, jam packed with Barbeques, beer gardens and all sorts of entertainment. More London festival is definitely the place to be, with live theatre performances and film screenings… you couldn’t ask for more in a British evening. Soak up the stunning surrounding architecture and unwind in the festivities More London has to offer.

We can’t wait to see The Wizard of Oz and Slumdog Millionaire which are both showing at the festival in September…exciting evenings to come!!! For information on the upcoming performances, from Theatre to Film and music, see our link above.
