It’s a weekend of comedy at Hide All and who’s better to carry the torch for great British comedians than Spike Milligan.
The grand father of comedy and his ever observational style has been made available for everyone to enjoy as best-selling greetings cards from Woodmansterne…
A small selection of our favourites:
Keep smiling no matter the weather!

As more London music venues close by the day we can thank the trusty jazz clubs and their seeming resilience to the decline in live music.
Closest to us here at Shad Thames WOULD have been the Prince of Orange in Rotherhithe, in it’s day the pub hosted acts such as Jools Holland during his rise to stardom and in turn became an iconic South East London jazz venue. Sadly The Prince of Orange closed it’s doors to jazz lovers in 2006.
Of course here at Hide All we’re avid lovers of music no matter the genre and it would seem so is our “King of Cuffs”; Simon Carter.
Consistently producing a beautiful range of semi-precious cuff-links, Simon has put his hand to a bit of brass and strings…
Saxophone Cuffs – £49
Guitar Cuffs – £49
All Platinum coated and detailed with Swarovski crystals.

As the weather warms up, it’s full steam ahead to the wedding season. Spring is most definitely in the air and it’s love birds all the way!
Allihopa is a UK based design-led greeting card publisher. They create extraordinary greeting cards, gift wrap and other paper goods that illustrate a mixture of British eccentricity with quirky design and we love it!
Rowanbeth makes unique, vintage style jewellery. Hand-made in London by Rowan herself who’s original work has been a great success with her first season in Hide All. Alongside her vintage jewellery, look out for her fantastic “farthing” cuff-links and hand-made bags.

Situated in the heart of Bermondsey, The Fashion and Textile museum is a 10 minute walk away from us.
Founded by British designer Zandra Rhodes, this iconic building is amongst the must see’s of SE1.
Currently hosting ‘Kaffe Fassett – A Life in Colour’ “a celebration of the work of one of the great practitioners of contemporary craft.”
For any lovers of arts and crafts and of course colour, this is a must to do in London this Spring.
WARNING: Once visited you may find the urge to knit, quilt, paint or weave. It certainly had that effect on us!

Here at Hide All we’re big supporters of all things sports; namely the mighty Charlton FC! However this weekend all our thoughts and support are with the fantastic people who are involved in the London Marathon.
This year is even more important than ever especially as we have not 1 but 2 friends of Hide All. They will be running for their respective charities on Sunday and we’ll be cheering them on from the starting line at Blackheath, over Tower Bridge, around the docklands and finishing up at Westminster!
Stuart Boddy from Radley London has been a friend of Hide All for many years and we know he’ll do an amazing run. His justgiving link is at the bottom of this page if you’d like to donate to his very personal and worthy cause; Cancer Research Wales. Please do read his story and follow his journey.
Erin Johnson who works in Shad Thames is running on behalf of the Crohn’s and Colitis UK charity and as ever has risen to the occasion with such style and grace.
We’ve loved reading http://lovefromcornfield.com/ throughout her marathon preparations. Again her giving link is at the bottom of this page.
